The moon featured a halo I'm the Ozarks last night caused by the refraction and reflection of ice crystals suspended in the clouds that are at high altitudes. As light passes through the ice crystals it is bent at a 22 degree angle creating a halo of 22 degrees.

The yellow finchs are abundant this time of year. This photo was taken at the Nature Center. You'll see them by the dozens searching for seeds while I'm the midst of autumn.
