I love waking up to a blanket of snow covering the world outside. It makes my house seem that much more cozy, however I don't stay inside long. I am out capturing the soft and gleaming snow as it creates exquisite contrast with whatever it surrounds. Here are a few photos from the heavy snow we got in the Ozarks earlier this week.

As the largest snow in a long while dropped on the Ozarks, I came across this beautiful scene and reflection alongside Zell Road in Billings. The air was cool and still. What I love about snowy days, is the quiet softness the blanket of snow brings.
The yellow finchs are abundant this time of year. This photo was taken at the Nature Center. You'll see them by the dozens searching for seeds while I'm the midst of autumn.
